Frequently Asked Questions

I offer a range of photography services including group sessions (2-7 or 8+), individual sessions, engagement/proposal sessions, Just For Me sessions, small business branding, music portraits, small event coverage including parties, music gigs/practices, and sports games/tournaments. Whether you are looking to capture important milestones, preserve special moments, or just let your creativity take the wheel, I've got you covered! 

Mini sessions start at $75, full sessions start at $120, and small event coverage starts at $175. 

Pricing varies depending on the type of photography service you require, the location, and the length of time needed. Additional charges include, but are not limited to: 

• Locations that require the photographer to travel more than 30 miles. Every mile past 30 miles will incur a $0.25 charge. 
• Additional time will incur a $2.00 charge for every 10 min past the allotted time. 
• Parks or venues that charge an admission fee will have an additional charge based on the cost.
• Studio sessions will have an additional charge based on the cost to rent the space. 
• Any unexpected extra travel and/or time will be invoiced after the session.

You can purchase gift certificates for the starting cost of each type of session/coverage offered as well as for a custom amount. Any amount leftover from using discounts, offers, etc. will be applied to the next session booked. Gift certificates make a great gift and do not expire which allows the gift recipient flexibility to schedule their session at the best time and place for them. 

• Mini Sessions- Minimum of 20 photos
• Full Sessions- Minimum of 50 photos
• Small Event Coverage- Minimum of 100 photos

Mini sessions can last up to 30 minutes and full sessions can last up to 90 minutes. Small event coverage will last up to 4 hours. 

Any additional time will incur a $5 charge for every 30 min past the allotted time. 

I offer sessions for individuals, small groups (2 to 7 people), and large groups (8+ people). 

I understand that it is not always easy to be in front of the camera and that some people may want to keep their photos just for them. In these instances, I offer sessions for those who want to preserve their favorite moments without having their pictures posted online.* The goal is to help build client's confidence and offer support in any way I can. Sessions can be for individuals or groups of 2 to 4 people.

Absolutely! I am happy to work with you to create a custom photography package that meets your specific needs and budget.

At Cherry Tree Photography, I use CloudSpot to create online galleries for each client where you may view, download, and order prints of your photos. All of your documents such as contracts, invoices, and questionnaires will be stored there as well. 

Any client who refers Cherry Tree Photography to someone who books a session will receive a 5% discount that can be used on a future booking. This discount does not expire and if you make multiple referrals, the discounts can be combined and applied to one session. There is no limit on how many times this discount can be used and all session types are eligible. To redeem this discount, email cherrytreephotova@gmail.com with the name of the person you referred. Once they book a session, I will let you know that your 5% discount can be applied to a future session. The new client can also get a 5% discount by letting me know the name of the referring client. 

If weather does not permit the session to take place at the scheduled time, the client and photographer will work together to schedule a new session. The retainer will be used towards this session. The session must be rescheduled within 3 months of the original session.

If illness or personal emergencies occur for either the client or photographer, both parties will work together to schedule a new session. The retainer will be used towards this session. The session must be rescheduled within 3 months of the original session.

If the session must be rescheduled due to military or first responder service, the client and photographer will work together to schedule a new session. The retainer will be used towards this session. If the session cannot be rescheduled within 3 months of the original session, the retainer will be returned in full to the client.

If the client must cancel the session for any other reason, or if the session is not rescheduled within 3 months, the retainer will not be refunded.
