My Passion for Photography
My passion for photography began back in 2009 in middle school when I joined the yearbook staff in eighth grade. I was very fortunate to continue pursuing this passion in high school as a member and eventual co-editor of the yearbook staff. Documenting sports games, school events, and various aspects of daily life helped me to gain skills in various areas of photography and taught me the importance of creating quality memories that people will look back on for years to come. Throughout college at Virginia Tech, I continued to work on my skills in photography and editing whenever I could by doing mini sessions with friends and family. Being able to share in the joy that people feel when they see their photos is what drives me to do the best I can and constantly strive to learn more.
A Glimpse into my Life
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, my friends, and my two Australian Shepherds, Henry and Cherry. Chasing around two active dogs with a camera has prepared me to work with your beloved pets and include them in your sessions. I moved to Virginia about 10 years ago with my family after graduating high school and have been in Fredericksburg for about a year. As someone who has moved a lot and loves to travel, it is always exciting to explore a new place and find the spots that stand out for great photos. I am also excited to see the spots that you pick out and learn why they are special to you.
